Daily Lotto Prizes
Daily Lotto gives you four ways to win prizes in every draw and guarantees that the jackpot will always be paid out. This makes it possible to win larger amounts than you might expect without even matching all the numbers. Continue reading to learn more about Daily Lotto payouts and the odds of winning.
Prize Payouts
To win Daily Lotto, at least two of the numbers you have selected must be the same as the winning numbers. If you match all five of the winning numbers, you win the jackpot. You’ll share the top prize if there are others who have also matched all the numbers.
The table below shows the percentage that is allocated to each prize division, as well as the odds of winning in each category. You can also see the payouts for the last draw and the average amount that has been paid out over the last three months.

There are no fixed prizes in Daily Lotto. The prize pool for each draw - which is made up of 50 percent of the funds raised from ticket sales - is split between the four divisions.
Guaranteed Jackpots and Rolldowns
Unlike other National Lottery games, the Daily Lotto jackpot has to be won in every draw. Instead of rollovers, the jackpot rolls down if there are no Match 5 winners. You can therefore receive a cut of the jackpot just by matching four of the five numbers.
If no tickets match five numbers, the money that would have been allocated to these winners – 35.60% of the prize pool - is added to the fund for the Match 4 winners. Everyone in this second division would therefore receive a share of 43.20% of the total prize pool. This can increase the size of your prize from a few hundred rand to a few thousand.
