In late November 2015, Ithuba, the operators of the South Africa National Lottery, introduced Powerball Plus, a game similar to Lotto Plus. Held on Tuesday and Friday evenings alongside the main Powerball draw, Powerball Plus offers players another chance to win big. To take part, players simply mark the "Powerball Plus" option on their ticket and pay an additional R2.50 per line, containing five numbers from 1 to 45 and a Powerball number from 1 to 20.
